An acute inpatient psychiatric unit is seeking a board certified psychiatrist to treat adult patients.
The facility is located in western Massachusetts.
The position is for a full-time Adult Psychiatrist in an acute inpatient psychiatry unit, with a caseload of around 18 patients and an average length of stay of 7 days.
The psychiatrist will work Monday through Friday and is not open to telepsychiatry. There is no call schedule, no NP supervision required, and the facility uses the Vista EMR system.
Nurse practitioners handle evaluations and admissions, and the psychiatrist will work alongside a strong social work team and other psychiatrists.
Board certification is required.
