Job Details
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - THE ROLE
- Load and unload shipments of products and / or materials; record receipts & enter into computer system
- Stage materials for pick-up or shipping
- Move materials on and off shelves
- Load all job materials in designated trucks, ensure all materials are prepared and ready per install packet specifications.
- Dispose of trash on from installation trucks.
- Assist in staging customer orders
- Maintain service parts area; log all incoming and outgoing parts
- Maintain inventory levels record and report specific usage
- Help lifting large units as requested, pick up and deliver material when necessary
- Deliver needed materials to job sites
- May help with moving material on installation job sites
- Keep warehouse areas clean and neat, may include sweeping, snow removal, picking up debris, and maintain a safe work environment
- Identify process improvements and lean ideas and make recommendations on a regular basis.
- Overtime and weekends may be required to support the business.
WHAT YOU BRING - THE PERSON
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- 2 years of computer and data entry experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Warehouse or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with tools such as chop saw, drill, caulking gun, etc.
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift product from 10 to 100 lbs
- Attention to details
- Forklift certified - Forklift trained
