SCI Summary : SCI supports people with disabilities, behavioral challenges, medically complex needs, transitioning youth, the elderly, and other populations using Maryland Department of Health's Targeted Case Management and Supports Planning work models as well as a concierge level geriatric care management and care partner model.

Position Summary : The Team Member Experience Coordinator will primarily be responsible for assisting with the administration tasks within Team Member Experience.

This role will be involved in most aspects of the People and Culture Department, including onboarding, offboarding, compliance and other People and Culture related initiatives.

This individual will contribute to the organizational goals and objectives of the department.

  • SCI Team Member Expectations : All SCI team members are expected to : Ensure services provided follow the organization's mission statement, core operating values and policies and procedures, follow HIPAA, confidentiality and security procedures and principles;
  • collaborate with peers, leadership, and support areas of the organization; actively participate in and contribute to leadership and other staff meetings and trainings;

Essential Duties :

Assist with the onboarding process by collecting new Team Member paperwork, entering new Team Members in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), conducting, and disseminating background checks through Choice Screening and CIJS, emailing IT (Information Technology) tickets, ordering business cards, collecting, and disseminating Conflict of Interest forms, and other assistance with onboarding as needed.

Primary point of contact for all new Team Members' onboarding activities.

  • Maintain Team Member files by ensuring that all collected documents are completed.
  • Manage Team Member records in HRIS by entering / updating their information and tracking policy signatures.
  • Sends out IT Tickets for Supervisor changes, name changes and Promotions.
  • Complete to Employment Verification requests and Public Student Loan Forgiveness applications.
  • Run weekly Company Mileage Report for Finance; biweekly SPS Report to SPS PM, Quality Systems Specialist, and Admin Assistant;
  • monthly Montcordia Report to Administrative Supervisor; monthly Directors, Sups, and Managers report to Corporate Admin;

monthly Service Anniversary and New Team Report for Corporate Admin.

  • Complete the Medicaid Fraud Check quarterly in compliance with COMAR (Code of Maryland Regulations) regulations.
  • Processes payroll actions such as entering pay changes and reimbursements, completing PCN's and maintain payroll spreadsheet.
  • Process Team Member Separations, maintain Separation spreadsheet, monitor equipment returns and update payroll for payouts.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Assist with desktop procedures and organizational procedures as needed.
  • Various job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Supervisory Duties :

This position does not have supervisory duties.

Education Required :

High School Diploma or equivalent experience required. Associates degree preferred.

Experience Required :

3-5 years of experience in an administrative role required. Administrative role supporting HR preferred.

Physical Demands : Generally, presents standard office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position >

95% of the time. Continually operates a computer, keyboard and mouse, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, and mobile Smartphone device.

Constantly positions self to comfortably maintain computer equipment. May occasionally be required to move about in an office setting or position office equipment weighing between 10-25 pounds.

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. The person in this position frequently communicates with other people.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

IT Roles must be able to position self to maintain computers and equipment, including under desks and in server room(s). Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
