LSSI is hiring a full-time Child Welfare Supervisor IFR , Monday through Friday from 9amto5pm.Supervises a unit of Child Welfare Specialist 's providing child welfare services for families reported to DCFS for the birth of substance-exposed infant, or where substance abuse is a barrier to child safety or well-being.

Essential Functions :
- Supervises Child Welfare Specialists to provide an array of services to achieve permanency for children per service plan and policies of agency, accreditation, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure job duties of the team and direct reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure productivity requirements as established by the Program Director or designee are met.
- Community with Program Director, work group, and collateral agencies regarding children's and / or family's status.
- Complete and submit all necessary reports, billing, and documentation accurately and on time as required by agency and funding sources.
Position Qualifications :
- Masters in social work or other related human service field required.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Three years' experience in social services required.
- State licensing / certification as required by the State of Illinois and regulatory agencies (i.e. DCFS, DHS, etc.)
- Background check clearance in both criminal and CANTS required.
- Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc / computer skills (including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow instructions; perform complex and varied assigned tasks while maintaining an appropriate work pace.
- Ability to relate to others, influence people, make decisions, plan, direct and / or control work.
- Illinois driver's license in good standing is required. Access to reliable transportation required for visits and to transport clients to and from appointments.
- Valid Illinois statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
