Kuusakoski is actively hiring for a full-time Maintenance Technician to support with our Maintenance Manager to help achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
This is a day shift position, Monday - Friday 6am to 2 : 30pm and may include some weekends. Must be flexible to work mandatory overtime hours as maintenance needs require.

Summary of Responsibilities :
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager by providing maintenance support to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
The Maintenance Technician will focus on performing Preventative Maintenance on the equipment and the overall general maintenance of the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Ensures production machinery and equipment is safe and operating effectively to aid in the protection of all employees and visitors.
- Conducts continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation.
- Performs preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery from blueprints, technical manuals, or vendor specifications along with production team members.
- Recognizes and performs machine adjustments to the various manufacturing machine systems.
- Assists with installation, testing, and validation of new equipment and machinery.
- Participates in equipment changeovers as necessary.
- Notifies management of any potential equipment and machinery issues or other noted abnormalities.
- Maintains organization of Maintenance Area and any other area where repair work is in progress.
- Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
- Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when the next service is due.
- Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations. Takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in the building.
- Welding on various equipment as necessary.
- Well versed in Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
- Remains current on all OSHA regulations and requirements.
- Other duties as assigned including general housekeeping.
