Job Description
Assist in training and supervising staff in an assigned shop of a large, high volume food service facility. Uses commercial kitchen equipment, standard recipes and procedures in the preparation of nutritious and attractive menu items and ensures safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
Merchandises and maintains shops; cooks / grills food to recipe specifications and ensures proper temperature and storage procedures;
ensures high quality production with proper portions and appearance. Ensures a high level of customer service and responds to complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Operates cash registers for product payment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience leading and directing others with strong leadership skills; excellent customer service skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- excellent organizational skills. Experience in a large multi-menu food service facility and knowledge and skill in operating general and commercial kitchen equipment;
knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures; ability to understand and follow standard recipes and procedures, and knowledge of basic math and measurement.
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and work with little or no supervision. Experience and ability to operate a cash register and complete related paperwork.

Salary $33,800 - $35,360, based on position plus $2,080 shift differential
