Job Description and Duties

DSH-Napa, Health Information Management Department has a permanent, full-time vacancy for a Health Record Technician I position, in Billing section.

This position, under general supervision from the Health Record Technician III Supervisor, is responsible for reviewing medical records on the units and performing detailed coding and basic abstracting duties;

processing health information data (audits, comply with governing rules of medical record management); and maintaining statistical data bases.
