POSITION SUMMARY :
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse who possesses additionalclinical and didactic education to function at an advanced level of nursingpractice.
They will be clinically competent in physical diagnosis, psychosocialassessment and management of health-illness needs to provide direct patientcare and education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :
Minimum :
Graduate of a Family or Womens Health Nurse Practitioner program. (Newgraduates may be considered with prior experience in pediatrics and / or NICU)
Desired : Bilingual in Spanish
Bilingual in Spanish
Clinic or ambulatory experience
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the California Board of RegisteredNursing
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the California Board ofRegistered Nursing
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner Furnisher with the California Boardof Registered Nursing (within 3 months of hire)
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application (within 3 monthsof hire)
Meets Centers for Medical & Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria to billMedicare
Current AHA-HCP CPR recognition
Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff office and Finance Office
Desired :
National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with a Family Practice orWomens Health specialty
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES :
Must have the confidence and experience to work independently with diversepatient populations and experience in accessing specialty referrals andcommunity resources.

Physician Assistant :
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Physician Assistant (PA) provides and coordinates direct patient care. ThePA provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare service, asdelegated by a physician.
The PA will report to the Womens Services Managerfor all employee / employer issues regarding departmental and organizationaloperations.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :
Minimum :
Graduate of a PA educational program accredited by the Accreditation ReviewCommission (ARC) on Education for Physician Assistants (or its predecessoragency) OR current certification with the National Commission on Certificationof Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Desired :
Recent OBGYN experience
One-year clinical experience as a Physician Assistant
Bilingual in Spanish desirable
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :
Minimum :
Current California Physician Assistant License
Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant(NCCPA), if not a graduate from an accredited ARC Physician Assistanteducational program
Current CPR recognition
Current ACLS recognition (within 3 months of hire)
