My client is a premiere material handler is seeking a Field Service and Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join their team and help us provide the best in customer support for the packaging industry.
As a Field Service and Manufacturing Assembly Technician, you will have the opportunity to travel to customer facilities across the country, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and work closely with our assembly team to become an expert in our products.
With frequent overnight travel and the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, this position offers a unique and exciting career path.
Key Responsibilities :
- Follow and maintain processes for in-house machine assembly
- Frequent overnight travel to customer facilities for installation, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Work with customers' production technicians and engineers to ensure smooth operation of machinery
- Maintain detailed records of in-field activities
- Assemble components and machines according to engineering prints- Overnight travel of 70%
Qualifications :
- 1+ years of experience assembling mechanical machines and components preferred
- High school diploma required; related courses preferred
- Comfortable using and navigating technological tools- Comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment
- Valid driver's license
