Job Title : Radiologic Technologist

Location : East Bay, California

Rate : $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Shift Type : Evenings

Shift Hours : 8 hours per day

Shift Notes : Monday-Friday PM shift and 1 part-time weekend PM shift available

Weekend Requirements : Weekend coverage required

On Call Requirements : Yes, to be discussed during the interview

Relocation : Possible relocation, to be discussed during the interview

Licensure Reimbursement : State licensure reimbursement available after 90 days of employment

Job Description :

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.

You will operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and assist in delivering patient care across multiple locations.

This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive timely diagnostic services in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
  • Submit and transmit X-ray images to Radiologists for interpretation.
  • Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment and perform exams as ordered by physicians.
  • Perform EKGs (if applicable) and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
  • Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
  • Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, and peers in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Maintain equipment, including vehicles and X-ray equipment, ensuring proper care and function.

Physical Demands :

  • Must be able to push / pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs. While vehicle ramps and pulleys are provided, equipment weight can increase in certain environments.
  • 50 lbs. of force or more may be required up to 16 to 24 times per day.

Submission Requirements :

  • Applicants must hold a valid state license and / or ARRT certification.
  • Maintain health and operational requirements.
  • A valid drivers license in good standing is required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required. Those seeking an exemption must provide appropriate documentation.
