Job Summary :

LaserAway is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and keen observer, capable of identifying potential issues before they escalate.

As a Senior HRBP, you will enhance employee morale and performance across multiple locations, leveraging your expertise in employee relations, performance management, and data analysis.

Location : Dallas, TX

Travel : 50-75%

What you'll do :

Proactive Issue Identification :

  • Use data analysis and in-person visits to identify and address declining morale.
  • Spend 3-4 days per week in stores, guided by HR metrics.

Strategic Support and Employee Relations :

  • Advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational design.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues, including mediations and investigations.
  • Conduct risk assessments for disciplinary actions and terminations.

Site Visits and Reporting :

  • Complete and audit morale scorecards after each visit.
  • Prepare summaries and action plans based on findings.

Data Analysis and Trend Spotting :

  • Monitor hiring, turnover, NPS scores, sales, and revenue performance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Performance Management :

  • Draft and deliver Corrective Actions and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
  • Coach low performers and guide managers on performance standards.

Communication and Coordination :

  • Participate in regular calls for safety, HRBP updates, hot spots, KPI reviews, and scheduling.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with managers and employees.

Expense, Benefits, and Project Management :

  • Address payroll, expense-related inquiries, and compensation questions.
  • Partner with Leave Management for work accommodations and complex leave scenarios.
  • Educate employees on PTO policies and benefits options.
  • Lead or participate in assigned projects and committees.
  • Engage in professional development through HR webinars and seminars.

What you bring :

  • Minimum of 7 years as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role.
  • Experience with an hourly, distributed workforce across multiple units and states.
  • Strong background in employee relations and investigations.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time, with frequent in-store presence.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Experience in change management and driving organizational initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
