What You Will Do

Reporting to our VP of Sales for the South Central and Eastern Regions, you will partner with your territory’s top benefits brokers to secure group agreements as a company-paid, or payroll-deducted benefit to eligible employees.

Your main responsibilities will include :

  • Owning the business in the defined territory.
  • Responsible for developing and managing key broker and consultant partnerships.
  • Meeting and exceeding ambitious annual targets with a dual focus on growing total premiums and membership unit volume.
  • Creating effective group-specific sales and marketing plans.
  • Traveling at regular intervals across the territory, as needed, to achieve sales goals.

What We Need From You

  • 10+ years of Employee Benefits sales experience, preferably in voluntary / worksite, group life, or group disability insurance.
  • Currently based in Central or South Florida with an active network of established brokers throughout those areas.
  • Experience educating brokers about the need for unique products. Good at developing mindshare and getting partners to take a chance on something new.
  • Current A&H insurance license.
  • Demonstrated commitment to utilizing CRM technologies.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
