High-growth business seeking applications for hard-working CDL drivers. Gas It Up, Inc. has developed a technology platform and service that delivers the gas needed, directly to individual, commercial, fleet and enterprise vehicles.
This eliminates the need to ever stop for fuel again! The driver who is chosen will be driving a customized truck (all gas, tolls, etc.
will be paid by the company) and will be providing small gasoline deliveries directly to vehicles. This is a physical job that requires getting in and out of the truck several times a shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Deliver and dispense fuel to customers, (Individual, Commercial, Fleets, and Enterprises)
- Verify directions with Fleet personnel before leaving the site to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site
- Maintain radio contact with supervisor / dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions
- Conduct pre-trip and post trip vehicle inspections
- Use tablets and other technologies to fulfill orders
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve questions
- Communicate with Dispatch / Logistics Team
- Inspect and care for customer vehicles (Fuel, check tires, take note of issues.)
- Answer questions from customers and curious future customers
- Provide the highest level of service and safety at all time
- Strive to meet customer expectations without exception and achieve highly positive customer satisfaction survey results consistent with strategic objectives
- May perform minor roadside repairs, such as installing light bulbs, putting air in tires.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the traffic routes of your assigned area
- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Assist other employees as needed
Key Skills and Experience Requirements
- Commercial- class driver’s license, B, or C
- HAZMAT (HME) & Tanker Endorsement desired
- Current DOT Medical Card required
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR required)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent judgment and work ethic
- Ability to pass a Drug Screen required by the DOT
- Reliable, resilient, organized, hard-working, and friendly personalities a must.
- Must be able to learn and adhere to company procedures with high expectations for SAFETY, ACCURACY, and SERVICE
- Site specific training will be provided
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States
