The successful candidate will need to possess the following disciplines : Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, Pneumatic, Troubleshooting, Fabrication and light machining.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Maintains, installs and repairs electrical / electromechanical and mechanical component systems for masonry plant equipment for safe and efficient operationsQuickly assess issues during breakdowns and applies troubleshooting, diagnostic and knowledge to repair equipment in an efficient mannerSafely operates motor vehicles and other mobile equipment including man lift, forklift, skid steer, and others, in the course of plant repair / maintenanceResponsible for correcting and / or reporting any conditions that may be hazardous to employees, contractors etc.
Works safely with members of the maintenance department and all other manufacturing personnel towards the common goal of minimizing downtime and maximizing quality and productivity of the production linesPerforms building and grounds maintenance as neededOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE : Should have 2 or more years of previous plant maintenance experienceHave the ability to weld and fabricate when neededHave a thorough knowledge of the principles of electricity and of electrical / electromechanical maintenance methodsSkilled in the application of methods used in the trade;
use of hand tools, testing equipment, and the safe installation of new and replacement partsHave the ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and to implement that knowledge in safe work practicesPossess knowledge and understanding of the rules of safety, especially as they relate to mechanical and electrical workCan demonstrate basic computer skillsA valid driver’s license is a requirementWORK ENVIRONMENT : Willing to work outside in all types of weather when neededAbility to respond to emergency calls after normal working hoursAbility to work extended hours to meet production demandsPHYSICAL CAPABILITIES : Ability to lift up to 90 lbs.
