Responsibilities
To manage the day to day operation of patient admission areas including employee counseling, performance evaluation, financial counselors and staff scheduling.
Assure that all information received by ancillary departments is complete and accurate. Must be available to work any or all hours to insure coverage of the admission areas, this includes weekends, holidays, evening, and night shifts.
Will coordinate call with QDS of facilities. Assistance in information gathering for budget process. Interacts with patients, family, physicians, nurses, managers and other staff.
Performs all work in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
Qualifications
Education : Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Licensure / Certification : CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager) preferred or obtained within 2 years.
Experience : 2-5 years admissions or business office experience (including supervision) required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
