About The Position
- Job Title : Rapid Response ICU RN Job Specialty : ICU Registered Nurse Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM (Nights & Every Other Weekend) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 3 years of ICU RN experience required;
- 2 years of rapid response and medical ICU (MICU) experience required License : Active RN License Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : Ability to read telemetry strips;
Telemetry competency Job Description : Work in a 20-bed Medical / Surgical ICU, providing care for adult patients with various diagnoses, including Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory failure, Cardiac arrest, Renal failure, DKA, and cardiogenic shock.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and residents who are present 24 hours a day.- Engage in floating to Medical / Surgical Units as needed.
- Maintain flexibility for rotating day shifts, although night shifts do not rotate.- Manage patient ratios of 1 : 2 or 1 : 1 for high acuity patients.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.- Ensure adherence to all certification and licensing requirements.Join our team to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
