We are looking to add a Manager, Media Planner to our team working on an automotive brand. Most of the team is based in Greater Detroit, MI and meets in person about once per week.
You will report to the Associate Director, Media Planner. You will join a supportive team and work with a client that sees us as a true partner.
You will get to demonstrate your working knowledge of full- funnel cross- channel media planning in both the Traditional & Digital spaces.
Some requirements / responsibilities include :
- Understanding of media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines
- Coordinate with creative agencies on creative assets and accounts needs
- Coordinate with multi-channel teams to design modern, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of channels
- Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media plans
- Help evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
- Experience w / analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
- Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
- Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities
Qualifications
- 2+ years of media planning experience
- 2+ years of experience with media tools such as Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools
- Experience promoting collaborative relationships with other teams
- Comfortable working with budgets / numbers and an understanding of mathematical concepts Desired, NOT Required :
- Experience Managing / Mentoring 2+ junior teammates
- Experience working in a large agency setting
- Understanding of planning sponsorship campaigns on both a national and local level
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $62,400 - $83,375 Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
