Job Description
DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated General Laborer / Landscaper with a great attitude and strong ethics.
This position is responsible for performing the day-to-day job functions that support all field operations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :
- Loads and unloads equipment.
- Trash and large debris pickup.
- Weed cutting and removal.
- Tree trimming.
- Drives company vehicles.
- Uses all power tools safely.
- Uses all equipment safely.
- Landscaping
- Herbicide application
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION :
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE :
- 20+ years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical, as well as a federal background check to work on railroad property.
- Ability to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time away from home. Hotel accommodations and per-diem paid by DCS.
- Landscaping experience is required.
- Herbicide application experience is not required but a strong plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
