JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and launch lifecycle marketing programs from start to finish, including Identify key customer insights and data needed to construct effective lifecycle (First Time Use and customer retention) strategies.
Assess and develop strategies to address key business problems in the customer lifecycle e.g., design multi-channel campaigns to help guide customers through First Time Use, increase their usage with the product, conversion, retention, and revenue.
- Identify the key performance metrics or indicators to measure success, both leading and lagging indicators. Plan and manage end to end process of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, in-product discovery, direct mail, push, and sms.
- Critically evaluate and size impact of addressing business problems with segments, audiences and cohorts and the potential impact of various strategies.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders and partners teams (e.g. Segment Marketers, Product Managers, Data Ops, Analytics, Creative & Deployment) to deliver an awesome customer experience.
Own the end-to-end deliverables, deadlines and measurement of marketing campaigns including email, in product messaging and push notification campaigns.
Recommend test plans to measure incremental lift of the onboarding and retention strategies including A / B and model driven testing.
Partner with analytics to develop tests plans and analyze results and recommend optimization opportunities. Write creative briefs.
Manage creative development with content and visual designers and developers.
Build and ensure on-time detailed program schedules - from kick off to tracking codes to legal / compliance review to deployment and results tracking, including managing stakeholder expectations, and communicating out project timelines.
Partner with the Marketing Operations team to document requirements required to bring strategies to the launch phase.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Lifecycle (customer retention) marketer with 5+ years’ experience in b2c or b2b email and / or mobile marketing. Lifecycle marketing strategist who has successfully planned and learned from executing and measuring complex, automated lifecycle (First Time Use and customer retention) campaigns for SaaS products.
Curiosity and energy for digging into customer onboarding and retention experience, data and creativity to explore opportunities for improvement in big, bold ways that improve customer retention.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand data sources, data mapping, campaign logic, and campaign performance (ROI analysis and recommendations).
Self-starter; proactive learner; solutions-oriented mindset. Strong project planning skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to drive projects forward with confidence, curiosity, and strategic partnership even in the face of incomplete data and ambiguity.
- Strong prioritization, organization, collaboration, and communication skills necessary to drive and lead cross-functional initiatives, and to be effective in a highly matrixed, distributed, and fast-moving environment.
- Understanding of creative best practices (email, push notifications, SMS, in product banners,) and how to articulate them as part of creative feedback and design direction or when evaluating campaign performance.
Passion and ability to be agile in campaign development, execution, and delivery of results. Use of digital marketing tools is a plus.
