About the Position :

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist you will coordinate and execute risk-based regulatory compliance monitoring reviews and advisory support across all lines of business in order to evaluate and ensure appropriate compliance with all applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations.

Your position will be critical to maintaining appropriate compliance risk tolerances within the organization.

What You Will Do :

  • Coordinate, implement, and execute risk-based regulatory compliance monitoring reviews across the organization in accordance with the Bank's Compliance Management Program
  • Perform fair lending analysis
  • Assist in CRA, HDMA, and Dodd-Frank Rule 1071 reporting reviews / validations for annual filing
  • Perform compliance reviews for marketing and promotional materials
  • Provide guidance and support for day-to-day compliance related issues
  • Participate in various compliance-related committees, audits, and examinations
  • Develop and manage strong working relationships with business units
  • Stay current with the regulatory environment and expectations through research and discussions with peers, seminars, webinars, roundtables, law firms, bankers associations, etc.
  • Analyze and implement changes and enhancements to the assigned programs based on new and changed regulations, guidance, enforcement actions and industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For :

  • A minimum of three years of experience in bank regulatory compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking regulations required.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel required.
  • Familiarity with PC Lender, RiskExec, and / or DNA preferred.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to organize, direct, and perform highly complex analysis and tasks.
  • Interpret complex laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Works well independently by taking initiative.
  • Capable of handling multiple, simultaneous requests.
  • CRCM or other bank regulatory compliance certification preferred

Working Conditions / Demands :

  • Professional office setting.
  • Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
  • Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
