The Role : Senior Software Engineer

The Team : The candidate will be working with Sustainable Mobility team.

The Impact : Our Team is responsible to designing and building platforms focused on automotive vehicle performance indicators, and fuel efficiency driving factors.

This enables our customer to make decisions with conviction.

What’s in it for you : We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years' experience required to meet the needs of our expanding portfolio of automotive compliance suite.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team based out of Gurgaon and to work with colleagues across multiple regions globally.

Responsibilities : As a Senior Software Engineer, you will :

• Design, develop, test, and implement highly scalable automotive forecast-based web applications.
• AWS technologies and agile methodologies, including GitLab CI / CD, Docker, Terraform etc.
• Assist the Product Management group in specifying requirements into technical requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners to further value proposition of our applications.
• Work closely with product owners, technology leaders to understand and clarify requirements.
• Improve the architecture and quality of the code.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / related field.
• 8-10 years’ experience building large scale front-end applications using Vue JS, AG Grid, Vuex, Mysql, Mongodb, Nodejs and Laravel framework.
• Working knowledge of AWS technologies and / or Serverless architectures
• Fundamental knowledge of DevOps pipelines in Teamcity / GitLab / Azure
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in team-oriented environment and can work independently.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in an Agile Development environment is preferred.

The following experience would be advantageous :

• Source control and code reviews using Git / GitLab
• Using JSON REST APIs in browser applications.
• Experience with docker, terraform etc. is a plus.
