Are you a highly skilled CNC Machinist looking for an exciting new challenge? We are a leading company in the engineering industry, specializing in the aerospace and defense sectors.
We are seeking a seasoned CNC Machinist who will bring precision, passion and expertise to our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a proven track record of excellence in CNC Machine Operation, Milling, Blueprint Reading, Precision Measurement, Quality Control, and Troubleshooting.
This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work on highly specialized and complex projects, with a team of dedicated professionals.
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for :
1. Operating and maintaining CNC machines, lathes and mills to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics to set up CNC machines accordingly.
3. Programming CNC machines according to the specifications of the task at hand.
4. Measuring and examining completed products to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments.
5. Maintaining quality control standards, implementing changes as necessary to ensure products meet quality standards.
6. Troubleshooting problems with equipment or products, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
7. Selecting and setting up the appropriate tools that are used in cutting, shaping and drilling.
8. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
To be considered for this role, you must have :
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist.
2. Proficiency in operating CNC machines, lathes, mills and grinders.
3. Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
4. Excellent precision measurement skills.
5. Proven experience in quality control and troubleshooting.
6. Proficient in machine programming.
7. Strong mathematical skills for making precise measurements and calculations.
8. Experience in tooling, lathe operation, mill operation, and grinding.
9. Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industries would be an asset.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
