We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Warehouse Clerk in the manufacturing industry located in WOOD DALE, Illinois, United States.
The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, from receiving and unloading deliveries to maintaining inventory and using warehouse equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Efficiently receive and unload deliveries from trucks.
- Utilize RF scanners to track warehouse inventory and operations.
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Handle materials within the warehouse for accurate distribution.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is kept clean and organized.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in scrapping operations as necessary.
- Respond to material requests from within the organization.
- Assist in maintaining accurate warehouse records.
- Proficiency in performing warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and sorting of goods
- Experience with warehouse distribution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory management and ability to maintain accurate records
- Knowledge of operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to perform cycle count to maintain inventory accuracy
- Experience with using RF Scanner for tracking and organizing inventory
- Must comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Good physical health and strength to perform manual tasks
- Basic computer skills for data entry and communication
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high level of work performance
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment would be advantageous.
