Reports To : Warehouse Assistant Manager Kossi Afantchao
As a Warehouse Associate you will fulfill and process orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of your department.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to confirm warehouse is suitable for daily operations
- Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse while maintaining all safety protocols and company procedures
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, supply rooms and other designated areas
- Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Determine proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities
- Keep accurate records on the use and / or damage of stock and stock handling equipment
- Examine and inspect items for wear or defects prior to use; reporting any damage to supervisors
- Provide assistance and / or direction to other warehouse or freezer workers
- Use fully functioning warehouse equipment (i.e., Forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, etc.) to drop and move freight throughout warehouse, while maintaining all safety and company procedures
- Work in containers unloading freight
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications :
- OSHA Certification to operate a Forklift (Preferred)
- Experience in working with RF Funs and Barcode System
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Problems-solving skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
- Detailed-oriented with excellent organization skills
- Understanding of RF Guns and barcoding
- Understanding of transferring of products of REDOCK (Preferred)
- Communicate with supervisors in various departments
- Daily discipline and the ability to prioritize, which allows the individual to dominate their daily checklist
- Professionalism, accountability, accuracy, and integrity
- Ability to work and cooperatively with others
- Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift / push / pull / carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to enter and maneuver in confined spaces
- Willingness to comply with company guidelines in reference to appropriate warehouse attire
- Willingness to work in order to complete such tasks associated with the company on a daily schedule
