Job Description

If you are a Physician Assistant looking for a collaborative environment, where you can learn, grow, and excel in providing effective and efficient care, then the Summit Health family is the place to be!

As we continue to expand our service offerings, we have a full time opening for a skilled Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology Department .

Candidate will work collaboratively with our Cardiologists providing patient care in the outpatient office. As a key member of our Cardiology team, you will assist with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, care management for consultations and follow ups, as well as stress testing.

Required Qualifications :

• Master's degree and successful completion of accredited program
• Current licensure as Physician Assistant by state of New York
• Board certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Knowledge of medical procedures and guidelines concerning assessment, treatment, and recovery
• Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
• Demonstrated professional competence and integrity and ethical conduct of practice
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and effective conflict resolution skills
• Patient focused and committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care and service to all patients
• Strong computer skills and EMR knowledge

Compensation Range : $118,000-$135,000

The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, individual performance, quality measures and location of position.
