Position Summary :

Are you a meticulous and driven financial professional ready to make a significant impact? TSL is seeking a Controller who thrives in dynamic environments and is ready to take on the challenge of managing and optimizing our financial operations.

As a self-starter, you will play a pivotal role in building the financial structures and strategies that will propel TSL to the next level.

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Management : Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Accounting Oversight : Manage all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Financial Planning and Analysis : Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Internal Controls : Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Cash Flow Management : Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and support growth initiatives.
• Tax Compliance : Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all tax regulations.
• Audit Coordination : Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
• Bookkeeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support for various projects and initiatives.
• Policy Development : Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Liaison Role : Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions as required.
• Trend Analysis : Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Financial Systems : Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and technology to streamline processes and improve financial reporting.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a software engineering or technology company.
• Skills : Strong understanding of GAAP, experience with financial reporting and compliance, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Analytical Ability : Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Attention to Detail : Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-Starter : Demonstrated ability to work independently and build new financial structures in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry Knowledge : Preferably experienced in the technology or development agency sector.

Compensation and Benefits :

• Base Salary : $50,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.
• Bonus : $10,000 for reaching goals, $20,000 for achieving stretch goals based on team and company performance.
