Position Summary :
The Shift Lead helps upper management lead the East Cobb Jet’s Pizza restaurant operations. This position executes daily objectives through collaboratively leading the team, while maintaining a flexible work schedule that accommodates business needs.
The work requires the ability to carefully analyze and plan, demonstrate creativity, exhibit passion, execute leadership, provide training, and model cooperation.
All Shift Leads will start as a Crew Member that's placed on the leadership track within the first 60-days of employment.
Throughout the duration of the 60-days, the candidate will be evaluated and at the conclusion of training, if the candidate meets the requirements, they will given the official title of Shift Lead with an increase in hourly wages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership
- Supervises tactical and strategic business operations.
- Coordinates daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
- Manages, designs, develops, coordinates, and conducts all trainings to follow restaurant procedures.
- Ensures incoming staff complies with company policy.
- Delivers superior food and beverage service and promotes customer satisfaction.
- Optimizes profits by controlling overhead costs.
- Organizes and follows up on the daily and weekly schedules.
- Estimates future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
Task Execution
- Maintains store standards by stocking and cleaning.
- Balances the cash register at the end of the shift and day.
- Enforces and maintains safety and food quality standards.
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma.
- Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant, hospitality, or similar supervisory role.
- Experience in providing superior customer service.
- Training in food safety
- Experience working long shifts.
- Ability to keep inventory organized.
