Responsibilities and Duties :

• Provide hour-long after-school and summer camp music classes in Florida City to elementary through high school age students with a range of disabilities
• Provide music and movement activities, music appreciation, and keyboard activities
• Gather the necessary music teaching materials before each class.
• Coordinate youth music performances for family engagement events.
• Maintain musical instruments in an organized fashion.
• Request any new needed instruments, equipment, or supplies through the Site Director.
• After-school hours : 16 / week Summer Hours : 25-30 / week
• Perform other functions, as directed, relevant to the position.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree
• Music experience with a variety of instruments
• Experience with youth with disabilities preferred
• Level 2 Background check and drug test
• Authorization to work in the USA
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
