We have an immediate opportunity for a Field Engineer for our Parsippany, NJ location.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide daily oversight and documentation of all elements of the work scope to ensure construction / remedial activities are being conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Document all activities for preparation of the Final Engineering Report and Site Management Plans.
  • Documentation will include :

oPhotographs

oWritten notes

oCompilation and tabulation of project related paperwork (manifests, etc.)

oResolution of construction related issues.

  • Participate in project-related meetings at the Site during the course of construction.
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports for regulatory agency submittal.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Management and Engineering office staff.
  • Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting the Community Air Monitoring System to ensure it is functioning correctly and accurately.

Requirements :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER trained w / current 8-hr Refresher.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
  • The ability to work outdoors in the cold and / or heat for up to 8 - 12 hours per day.
  • The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Computer Skills must include Microsoft Windows Word and Excel.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
