Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Soliant has partnered with a school in the area of Port Orchard, WA, and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year.
Additional details about building assignments, caseloads, and workload will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
Requirements :
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Washington SLP license
- ESA (Education Staff Associate) credential for Speech-Language Pathologists
As a school-based SLP, you will :
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Determine if new referrals qualify for services
- Provide individual and / or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
