Nursing Supervisor, Administration dept, Full Time, Flex shift
Position Summary :
Performs administrative leadership and management of the hospital during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Oversees patient care and staffing of all departments during assigned shifts.
Ensures that the objectives and policies of the hospital are followed in accordance with departmental standards. Interacts with administrative personnel from other hospitals and regulatory agencies.
Required to work flexible hours as needed by Chief Nursing Officer.
Position Qualification :
- Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)
- Positive affect demonstrated leadership and time management skills, excellent physical assessment and critical - thinking skills.
- Five years progressive nursing experience in acute healthcare facility.
- Experience as critical care / Emergency Room nurse preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language
- Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assess / detect changes in human physiological condition
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, stressful environment
Required Licenses / Certifications :
- Current Florida RN License
- Holds current BLS card from the American Red Cross
- Hold or Obtain ACLS card from the American Red Cross within 6 months of employment
