International Warehouse Forklift Supervisor Automation Personnel Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Warehouse Forklift Supervisor to join our expanding team.
An international warehouse is a storage facility located in a foreign country that stores and distributes goods for global trade.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing forklift operations in our international warehouse, ensuring efficient movement of goods and materials.
This role requires strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, the ability to listen, be trainable, and have the patience to learn, as this position will take 3 months to a year to master.
Additionally, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential. Payrate Starting at $23.00 an hourPayrate will be dependent on experience Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 8 : 00AM to 5 : 00PM International Warehouse Forklift Supervisor Duties Responsibilities :
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move products and materials.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of goods in compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with international logistics teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods, resolving any issues or discrepancies related to forklift operations and warehouse activities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Handle international paperwork and documentation, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations and accurate record-keeping.
- Measure and weigh pallets and goods for flight details, ensuring they meet the specifications and requirements for international shipping.
International Warehouse Forklift Supervisor Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics, including proficiency in warehouse management software and AS / 400 System.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to listen, be trainable, and have the patience to learn, as this position will take 3 months to a year to fully master.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, with a high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
