Overview
The Transfer Pricing (TP) Advisory role for US Intermediate Holding Company (IHC) / Americas region is primarily an advisory function within Group Tax.
It provides advice on all aspects of TP methodologies, documentation and reporting for IHC and the Americas region as well as the global TP approach of Deutsche Bank Group.
The role involves close liaison with the major businesses of IHC and the Americas region, Global TP team and other finance colleagues who focus on the operational areas of transfer pricing to ensure that a stable and efficient transfer pricing process is in place.

What You’ll Do
Support the determination of TP methodologies across the full range of the Businesses in the IHC / Americas region, including trigger events, new product and transaction reviews and restructuring projects that relate to cross-border transactions
Coordinate with Global TP team in setting transfer pricing policies to reflect changes in transfer pricing law and business practices in the region
Ensure contemporaneous TP documentation in compliance with US TP regulations is prepared on a timely basis for tax filings
Work with other teams in the IHC / Americas business and finance organization to ensure that appropriate E2E transfer pricing documentation is available to support the selection and application of the methodologies
Assist with analysis of intragroup services and transactions with particular focus on Base Erosion and Anti-Abuse Tax (BEAT) impact
Support the implementation of global TP reporting requirements (e.g., BEPS) for the IHC / Americas
How You’ll Lead
Address requests from the tax authorities in the Americas in respect of transfer pricing including responses to tax audit queries
Engage and work collaboratively with other parts of the IHC organization, (e.g., with respect to Reg W), the Global TP team and Group Tax to manage risk, ensure effective governance and efficient management of the transfer pricing processes
Skills You’ll Need
Experience working in the field of transfer pricing including the determination and implementation of transfer pricing methodologies in the financial services sector
Transfer pricing technical expertise gained in financial institutions or Big Four accounting environment
Solid understanding of the U.S. Transfer Pricing regulations including BEAT provisions
Broad understanding of the financial services sector and products
Excellent technical writing skills
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Ability to communicate the technical subject matter to a non-technical audience
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
