Sr. Developer - EV Engineering

An International company, located in Plano, TX, is seeking a Se. Developer - EV Engineering for a 12+ month contract role.

What we"re looking forWe"re looking for a passionate and highly motivated Developer to join Engineering team who is responsible for software design & delivery , developing high-quality functions paying attention to details making customer experience seamless and smooth.

Additionally, provide technical leadership and vision in design, implementation, testing, and rolling out existing, and new services in a multi-region configuration.

What you"ll be doingDesign and development of GoLang application program interface (API) and WebservicesMaintaining REST API documentation using swagger and doing design documentationDocument work and engage in quality testing / validation for changes or improved features before releasing to the customerTroubleshoot issues and debug codebasesWorking on AWS cloud platform including EKSMaintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changesWork with Leads and team members to meet all project deliverables and milestone datesCommunicate well with team members and suppliers and work collaborativelyThe team and candidate is responsible for working on the partnership, service integration, design, development and releasing of Electric Vehicle (EV) Engineering services for the next generation EV platform which is set to release in the next 3 years.

This team is also in process of establishing partnership with other entities.Candidate will primarily be focusing on the back-end development of the platform to manage, maintain and optimization of charging stations, charging events, work on cloud services.

Required skills -Strong experience with Golang (at least 3 years in recent), experience with Java would be greatAWS cloud servicesStrong development background, should be able to break down the code.

Should have over 10 years of strong professional development experience.Team player, should get along well with the cross-functional team.

Should have great personality, humility, flexibility, ability to adapt, willingness to learn, etc.Preferred skills -Automotive industry backgroundRequirements : Qualifications / What you bring (Must Haves) Reasonable Experience with one or more programming languages such as : Golang (must have min 2-3 years), Java, nodeJSReasonable experience with cloud services (AWS / GCP / Azure), Devops, cloud engineering, architecture, and software as a serviceExperience doing development for large scale distributed systemsVery good problem-solving and analytical skills with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis Added bonus if you have (Preferred) : Prior Experience in Automotive multimedia systemExperience in implementing, validating platform technical specificationsFamiliarity with Agile / Scrum methodology
