Overview
This position is accountable for a variety of Strategic Market and Business Planning activities and projects in support of the accomplishment of organizational and departmental goals and objectives.
Utilizing a variety of tools and inputs, this position creates clear and concise strategic insights to guide system-level strategic decision making.
This position works closely with other system-wide teams to support Cone Health and market and business planning. This position reports to the Assistant Director, Market and Business Planning.

Responsibilities
1Assist in the identification and evaluation of trends in health care, local conditions, healthcare legislation, economic conditions, and competitive institutions in order to assist in the development of corporate strategies designed to respond to those trends
2Perform demographic, utilization, and competitor analyses for specific projects as assigned in order to assist in the development of market or business strategies
3Maintain and utilize databases to assist in planning and development analyses. Identify and utilize market intelligence tools from external sources, such as Truven Health, Advisory Board Company, Sg2, etc. to support planning needs
4Support the development of annual business and market plans, including conducting forecasting and feasibility studies, in order to facilitate the development of market strategies.
Translates business needs to a set of meaningful findings for assigned projects
5Assist Assistant Director, Strategic Planning with preparation and submission of Certificate of Need applications and other regulatory filings
6Maintain standard market and facility based reports to be kept up-to-date and distributed to organizational leaders on regular, established timelines
7Develop and maintain relationships with other system-wide partners, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Lean, EPMO, Enterprise Analytics, and others.
Proactively engage partners in requested projects
8Collaborates with Strategy Managers to provide comprehensive strategic insights to guide system-level strategic decision making
Qualifications
EDUCATION : Required :
Bachelors in Business, Planning, Marketing, Health Care Administration, Public Health Administration or closely related field
Preferred :
Masters in Business, Planning, Marketing, Health Care Administration, Public Health Administration or closely related field
EXPERIENCE : Required :
At least one year of related experience, preferably in a health care setting
Preferred :
At least three years of related experience, preferably in a health care setting
