Wimmer Communities is a family-owned, locally operated, multi-faceted real estate development, brokerage, construction, and property management firm.
Wimmer currently owns and operates over thirty properties throughout southeastern Wisconsin and many more exciting, high-quality properties are currently under construction!
Wimmer Communities is currently seeking a summer Marketing Intern to join our team of talented professionals. Come join us!
Pay : $15-16 / hour
Hours : Part-time, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 am-3 pm or otherwise agreed upon
Essential Duties :
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media, direct mail, and web)
- Assist with the setup of new marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance existing marketing initiatives.
- Prepare and distribute marketing materials.
- Help organize the marketing for company-sponsored events.
- Perform market analysis and research on the competition.
- Assist with other projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or associate degree program. Preferably within the marketing field.
- Solid understanding of different marketing techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and use of web-based services.
- Familiarity with online applications (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)
- Quick learner.
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.
- Basic understanding of digital imaging and illustration
- Familiarity with graphic design software (adobe inDesign and Illustrator)
