Here’s What You’ll Get To Do
- Review the Surpass AS400 ERP system to select the appropriate production dates based on the lead times indicated by the Manager.
- Key the order in the ERP system and document image all associated drawings as required.
- Issue intercompany purchase order within corporate policies and guidelines.
- Printing and distributing the incoming orders from the order desk emails.
- Assist with checking that documents are scanned properly into the doc link database
- Advise clients of any shipping delays in a timely fashion each morning. This report is provided by the Manager daily.
- Ensure all customer concerns have been clearly communicated with the sales representative and / or manger.
- Writing up credits and replacements as they come in for approval by the manager.
- Review of technical specifications to verify accuracy.
- If the order is not accurate, the CSR is responsible for resolving the technical specifications. This may require further clarification by the client and / or assistance of an internal manager.
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude with customer service orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Responsive to change in priorities and immediate demands.
- Detail oriented.
- Prefer experience in data entry and customer service roles.
- Proficient in a Microsoft office environment.
- Have reliable transportation as public transit is not available where we are located.
Working conditions & Physical requirements
- Be able to maintain composure while exposed to challenging customer service situations.
- Exposed to continuous repetitive keying for duration of shift.
