Nuclear Medicine Technologist - (Nuclear Med Tech)

Pay Rate : $2057.30 - $2370.37
Nuc med Tech needed asap
Must have an active VA State license at submittal
Float to CDS Cardiac Diagnostic Services (CDS) is a small cardiology imaging center 0.5 miles from the hospital, at 4660 Kenmore Ave.
Alexandria VA. At this center they would be performing Myocardial perfusion Imaging (MPI). This imaging is also performed at the hospital.
General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) : AHA BLS
Specialty certification requirements : Active VA state license, ARRT(N) or NMTCB certifications
Experience or 'Must have' skills? : 2 years experience, if they have hospital experience it is a plus. Must be able to start Ivs.
Ok with first time traveler.
Common types of imaging / studies performed & Job Duties : Stress testing-high emphasis. Cardiac Nuclear Stress, All general Nuclear Studies.
Equip : Siemens Symbias, GE Hawkeye, and GE 850
EMR : EPIC
PACS : Visage
Will they have to float / cover any other areas? CDS
with a high emphasis on cardiac
Do they have to start IVs? Yes, must be able to start Ivs
Scrub Color / Dress Code : Black
