Job Title : Organic Chemist
J ob Description
Prepare organic compounds according to documented procedures. Use a rotovap to remove solvents from chemicals and sand. Purify materials using flash chromatography or thin-layer chromatography (TLC).
Utilize other wet chemistry techniques such as HPLC, NMR, IR, and UV-vis. Follow work orders to create chemicals and materials for other departments within the organization.
Calculate the appropriate amount of chemicals using basic and advanced math.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
Schedule
Rotating Day shift :
8 weeks on Monday - Thursday from 7am-6 : 00pm
8 weeks on Thursday - Sunday from 7am - 6 : 00pm
