Advanced Radiology is one of the largest independent radiology practices in the tri-state area with the most experienced radiologists.

The X-Ray (General Radiologic)Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures; reviews all necessary documentation related to the procedures and performs related clinical and administrative duties.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm with rotating Saturday coverage 8am-12pm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring patient satisfaction.
- Operating knowledge of radiographic equipment.
- Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas..
- Reviews all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
- Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each radiographic room / equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness.
- Performs related clinical and clerical duties associated with the patient procedure.
- Assists in the managing of the radiographic procedures through the coordination of resources, to facilitate optimal efficiency.
Assures that the procedures performed are in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready the equipment for patient imaging.
- Contributes to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.
- Maintains certification and licensure by attending continuing education classes.
Educational Requirements :
- College degree preferred - New Grads welcomed!
- ARRT (RT)(R) and CT State License required We’ll even reimburse you for this cost!
