Mechanical Estimator

This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are passionate about construction methods related to mechanical systems : plumbing, sheet metal, hydronic, and process piping construction methods

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings, performing detailed take-offs, and accurately calculating costs for HVAC, piping, and or plumbing projects.

Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Perform detailed take-offs and cost calculations accurately
• Prioritize tasks and meet timelines
• Collaborate with team members and project managers

Essential job functions :

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or 3+ years of relevant working experience
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the mechanical contracting industry
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Skills :

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings
• Ability to perform detailed take-offs and cost calculations accurately
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• MS Suite, Bluebeam, ProCore, Trimble or similar experience preferred
