About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (06 : 45 - 19 : 15) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Open Heart Experience, Aortic / Mitral Valve Repair / Replacement Experience, Surgical Scrub Experience License : Active RN licensure in the State of Ohio Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Willingness to rotate shifts and units, ability to potentially assume Charge Nurse role Job Description : - Provide specialized nursing care in the CVOR, assisting with open heart and hybrid vascular procedures.
- Participate in a 13-week contract with a schedule of 36 hours per week, working 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 15 PM. - Be available for on-call duties 7-8 days per month, covering both weekdays post-shift until the next morning and 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays.
- Collaborate with the surgical team in a hybrid vascular room, and perform duties relating to aortic and mitral valve repair and replacement.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety in the operating room. - Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and uphold the highest levels of patient confidentiality and integrity.
