In the role of Environmental Planner 1, we'll count on you to :
- Collect, assimilate and manage project-related data for environmental science and planning-related studies
- Review mapping (GIS / CAD), studies and regulations, and assist in preparing environmental compliance documents
- Assist in preparation and participation of public / client meetings
- Prepare, plan and analyze / review technical studies, permit applications, NEPA documents, and similar reports / documents
- Assist senior staff in environmental task assignments
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Previous environmental planning experience

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Resources or Planning
- Experienced in MS Office Suite
- Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
