Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Estimator Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Prepare solicitations.
- Develop relationships with vendors.
Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Estimator Qualifications
- Three or more years of mechanical plumbing construction estimating experience.
- Experience estimating construction projects between $100K and $10M+ in plumbing budget.
- Experience estimating commercial construction projects.
- Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated history of successful leadership.
- Strong computer software skills Bluebeam, Excel, QuickPen preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience analyzing information, estimating, planning, strategic planning, and attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred but Not Necessary
- Licenses or Certifications preferred.
- Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- Prior field or project management experience is a big plus.
