Responsibilities for Material Handler :
1.Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
2.Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas and manufacturing areas.
3.Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse / yard.
4.Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing and loading them.
5.Assist paint in preparing product for overseas shipments and special paint jobs.
6.Comply with all safety rules and guidelines.
Qualifications for Material Handler
1.High School Diploma or equivalent.
2.1-3 years of experience working in a warehouse setting and operating a forklift preferred.
3.Ability to follow instructions and work independently with little guidance.
4.Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time; ability to bend and lift heavy materials (up to 45 lbs.)
