Associate Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities :
- Developing and modifying process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards.
- Recommending and implementing improvements, modifications or additions to document work.
- Reviewing product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
- Integrating equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications.
- Providing engineering support for product transfers ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the companys latest procedures.
- Determining the technical objectives of engineering assignments and making decisions regarding the direction and the results of the assignment.
- Monitoring and controlling progress of work ensuring sound application of engineering principles and the appropriate use of policies and procedures.
- Analyzing equipment to establish operating data, conducting experimental test and result analysis.
- Ensuring quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications.
- Selecting components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field).
- Minimum of 2 or more years of process or manufacturing engineering experience.
- Minimum of 1 or more years experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing or project environment, medical device industry is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 1 or more years experience with equipment validation, IQ / QQ / PQ.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
