Responsibilities / Duties :
- Dive into product and pricing challenges, uncovering solutions through dynamic data analysis from both internal and external sources!
- Play a key role in refining existing insurance products and shaping new ones through in-depth analysis and creative implementation.
- Conduct comprehensive product reviews, identifying trends, competitive insights, and rate level indications to stay ahead of the curve!
- Optimize growth and profitability by analyzing agency management, product distribution, and claims procedures, driving improvements in underwriting success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from marketing to finance and IT to enhance product profitability and bring strategic action plans to life!
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of experience) in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or a related analytics field.
- Bilingual in Spanish with strong communication skills to effectively present insights to management and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Excel, Access, and programming languages like SAS or SQL, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Skilled in multitasking, managing projects, and meeting deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
- CPCU and AIDA certifications, plus CAS exam completion and progress toward ACAS, are highly valued.
