Position Overview
Marcum LLP is seeking an experienced Valuation, Forensic, & Litigation Director with strong experience to join our national firm in our Portland, ME office.
This position requires a high-energy, experienced professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
Marcum LLP’s Valuation and Litigation Support Group is a leading provider of business valuation, litigation support, economic damages, financial forensic investigations, and other advisory services.

Responsibilities
- Generate work through current referrals
- Manage multiple engagements concurrently
- Lead dispute investigations
- Conduct financial investigations
- Perform due diligence investigations
- Manage team members to ensure accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and research.
- Ensure analysis adequately supports conclusions reached.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to staff to help facilitate staff development.
- Determine and manage budgets and profitability.
- Lead engagements and client interactions.
- Attend depositions and court appearances
Qualifications
- Demonstrate proven ability to generate new business through referrals.
- Demonstrate ability to lead, motivate, develop and coach teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and active participation in networking.
- Strong project management and problem solving skills.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience.
- B.S degree in accounting, finance or economics required.
- Professional licenses or credentials such as ASA, CFA required.
Associate expected to be in office at least 3 days / week.
