Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Wireless Network Administrator in South Burlington, VT or Camp Springs, MD;
or in a location to be determined upon offer acceptance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Manage access points, wireless controllers, wireless authentication, accounting, and authorization.
Work with Network Architecture and Engineering and Operations teams using ticketing system, to track and monitor wireless requests.
Use monitoring tools, such as Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly Cisco DNAC) to monitor the performance of the wireless infrastructure and take corrective actions before users are impacted.
Work closely with network engineers and architects to assist in design and implementation of new wireless technologies.
Provide 7 x 24 x 365 Operations and Maintenance support to the USCIS wireless network environment.
Support to include but not limited to, wireless access points, wireless controllers, and wireless authentication, accounting, and authorization tools such as Cisco ISE.
Responsible for the overall platform management, code version, and patch management.
Use the USCIS ticketing system for work assignment, tracking, and closing.
Identify and resolve any wireless system instabilities.
Work closely with the USCIS Network Engineering and Architecture team to assist in the design and implementation of new wireless technologies in the support of the USCIS mission.
Use Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence and MS Teams to provide transparency and allow information to be visible in real time and to create a unified backlog ensuring visibility into all areas of work and identifying inter-dependencies between teams.
Minimum Qualifications
2 or more years of experience.
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
Must have strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills
Possess superior technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.
Familiarity or demonstrated ability to understand and work with some of the following tools and technologies :
Cisco Wireless Access Points and Wireless Controllers
Cisco Identity Services Engine
Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly Cisco DNAC).
Cisco Meraki
Routing and switching concepts.
Familiarity with IEEE 802.11 concepts / technologies.
Wireless site survey and predictive design software and tools.
Wireless spectrum analysis software / hardware.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field, network administration / engineering preferred.
CCNA, CWNA or equivalent experience.
Experience with ITIL, DevSecOps and Agile concepts.
Experience with major cloud providers.
Experience supporting Government contracts.
Familiarity with the following tools :
SolarWinds
Ansible
Python
AlgoSec
Splunk
Infoblox
ServiceNow
Jira
Confluence
Clearance Requirements :
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust and complete DHS Security Clearance
Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability
Current DHS EOD highly preferred
Physical Requirements :
Combination of office work and field work (to include physical installation of wireless access points and other networking hardware, ability to lift 50lbs).
Some CONUS travel required.
