About The Position

ied Occupational Therapy AssistantTwo years experience as a certified occupational therapy assistant with a primary focus on sensoryintegration therapy with pediatric clients.

Experience in a public school classroom.

• The intellectual, sensory and physical development of young children.
• Techniques used in the assessment and treatment of disabilities.
• Child guidance principles and practices related to children with special education needs.
• Assist in the assessments of the developmental status and education needs of young children.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information.
• Any combination of experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities.Graduation from an approved program for occupational therapy assistants.
• Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board as a Certified Occupational TherapyAssistant is required.
• Possession of First Aid and CPR certificates is required.
